Your dentist may recommend a crown to you if they feel your tooth needs further support beyond a filling.

This often happens if the tooth has had root canal therapy, has visible cracks, or has very large restorations already present. At Fairfield Dental Home, we fabricate our crowns through a local dental laboratory, and use digital scans to accurately order a custom fit crown for your tooth. There are many materials that can be used, including porcelain, zirconia, and gold.

This is a cosmetic procedure which is often used to recreate the appearance of your front teeth for a more aesthetic result. It involves slightly preparing your teeth, and using digital scans to communicate the result desired to a local dental laboratory. Often, this procedure will involve 6-10 teeth at a time, and will involve an initial custom smile design and trial.

This is a cosmetic procedure which also has the ability to recreate the appearance of your front teeth, however, it is done chairside using our composite resin materials. This procedure involves adding material to your front teeth to alter the shape, colour and size of the teeth in a way that is harmonious with your current smile. Your dentist will speak to you about the benefits and disadvantages compared to porcelain veneers during your consultation.
